TYPEA Mentorship Program 2010 - Professional Development Seminar: "Face to Face: The Art of Interviewing"


We are moving towards an economic recovery. Companies are unfreezing hiring. Are you in the hunt for a career or new opportunity? It will start with an interview. Preparing for it means researching the company AND researching yourself.

Taiwan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs Association (TYPEA) is pleased to present its first professional development seminar that focuses on various interviewing techniques and topics, including:
 

• How to provide a well-rounded answer, and strengthen the impact of your responses
   
• Ensuring your body and words are delivering the same message
   
• How to handle inappropriate questions and avoid inappropriate answers. Know the expectations, but know your rights
   
• How to be memorable in a way you want to be remembered
   

This informative and insightful seminar will be delivered by Keith Kwan, a senior manager in the Assurance and Advisory practice at Deloitte. Keith is actively involved with the firm's recruitment activities.  He also has numerous years of experience mentoring youth and developing their leadership skills.

Join us and let us help you ace that next interview, at North York Civic Centre, Committee Room #3 (5095 Yonge Street, North York, Ontario) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 21st, 2010.
