After discussions between the Council of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and the legal counsel of the Chamber of Commerce, the Toronto Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce Members Meeting, which was originally scheduled to be held in June every year, has been postponed to June 2021. The current Taiwan Chamber of Commerce Council will stay for one year and continue to exercise its rights and obligations until next year's general election. The membership of the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in 2019 will be extended until the end of 2020; for new members who join the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce this year, their membership will be extended until the end of 2021.

List of members of the 28th Taiwan Chamber of Commerce Council:

Chairman Xu Hongyi, Vice Presidents Zhou Chongwen and Xu Xinrui, Secretary General Wen Jianjin, 10 directors are Zheng Xiuming, Ou Xinjun, Chen Jianting, Zhang Lirong, Cai Xiaoping, Zhang Quanzhong, Zheng Jiahui, Zhang Wanjun, Song Jianhong, Xu Renyuan, and 3 sponsoring directors are: Wang Ziming .

Chairman Xu Hongyi said that he has gained a lot from working in the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce for two years. The Chamber of Commerce is a good platform. Whether it is business mutual assistance, cultural exchanges, or even daily interpersonal communication, the Chamber of Commerce provides many opportunities. He hopes that as the chairman, he can lead the council in the future. Provide more diverse activities for members so that the Chamber can continue to make a difference. Affected by the epidemic this year, many activities have been suspended. I hope that as the economy unblocks, the Chamber of Commerce can help members tide over the difficulties together.

The Toronto Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce was established in 1993. Since its inception, it has adhered to the direction of "political neutrality and business-oriented" and actively communicated with Toronto's local communities and associations of different ethnicities to build the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce into a rich business community. The golden platform of resources. By integrating information, developing markets, and better assisting local Taiwanese businessmen to gain a foothold in Canada, the Taiwan Business Association has also become a window for people from all walks of life to know Taiwan in this multicultural society.
