The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, in partnership with the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei and the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney, is organizing an Ontario Life Sciences Mission to Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan from December 2-7, 2025 and an Australia Life Sciences Roadshow in Brisbane and Sydney from December 9-12, 2025.
Healthcare Expo Taiwan
As the hub of technological advancement in the Asia-Pacific, Taiwan is where industry giants like Acer, Intel, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Quanta convene annually. It's where innovation meets opportunity. From groundbreaking medical advancements to state-of-the-art technology products and digital healthcare solutions, the Healthcare+ Expo offers an extensive showcase of Biotech, Medtech, and Healthtech solutions in Asia Pacific.
Initiated by hospitals in Taiwan, the 2024 Healthcare Expo attracted 650+ exhibitors, 78,000 visitors including 2,500 international buyers, 158 overseas hospitals and 48 industry associations/trade delegations across the globe.
Joining the Ontario mission to 2025 Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan represents an excellent opportunity for innovative Ontario companies with leading-edge biotech, medtech and healthtech products and solutions interested in Taiwan and Asia Pacific market. The event provides a unique platform and unrivaled visibility to access potential clients, investors and business partners from Taiwan and the broader Asia Pacific Region.
Australia Life Sciences Roadshow
An outreach life sciences roadshow in Australia will be provided to the Ontario firms who are interested in exploring the Australian market too, which will help maximize the benefits of this Asia-Pacific trip.
Australia’s life sciences sector offers significant potential across the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, MedTech, digital health, and clinical research markets. Backed by world-class research institutions, government incentives like the R&D Tax Incentive, and a highly efficient clinical trials environment, the country is a hub for innovation in drug development, diagnostics, and emerging fields such as regenerative medicine and digital health. Taipei – Brisbane: Eva Air also offers direct flight from Taipei to Brisbane, Australia.

As part of the “Going Global” partnership between the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN), Ontario Centres of Innovation (OCI) and Air Canada, OVIN/OCI has obtained a Discount Code from Air Canada that may reduce your cost of travel on Air Canada flights for the Ontario Life Sciences Mission to Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan 2025. The discount code along further instructions will be shared with the companies who have registered to participate in this mission at a later time.
Accommodation:
Healthcare Expo Taiwan organizer offers one 3-night complimentary hotel stay per Canadian exhibitor. We will share the registration link for your hotel offer upon receiving your registration and payment for the mission.

Visa Requirement(s)
